Dashboard Guide

Lockie is configured primarily through the Dashboard:

The Dashboard is where you manage plugins, premium status, logs, permissions, recent cases, app activity, and server-specific protection settings.

TIP

If you are missing a feature you see in screenshots, check that you selected the correct server, that Lockie is still in the server, and that the feature is available for your plan or bot version.

Quick setup checklist

Most servers should complete these first:

  1. Set moderation, protection, and action log channels.
  2. Confirm staff roles and dashboard access.
  3. Enable the Moderation, Locking, and Anti Check plugins you need.
  4. Configure Anti-Scam and Anti-Dox allowlists and blocklists.
  5. Test one safe command and confirm it creates a log.
  6. Review Recent Cases and App Activity after changes.

Server selector

After signing in, choose the server you want to manage.

If a server does not appear:

  • Make sure you are signed into the correct Discord account.
  • Make sure you have permission to manage that server.
  • Make sure Lockie has been invited to that server.
  • Refresh the Dashboard after inviting Lockie.

Plugin overview

Moderation plugin

Use this for manual moderation and case tracking.

Common settings include:

  • Moderation log channel
  • Action logs channel
  • Staff role access
  • Case and audit behavior
  • Recent Cases visibility

The Action Logs Channel can also be used by App Activity, which records bot and dashboard activity such as commands, setting saves, and template changes.

Locking plugin

Use this for channel lock controls and Maintenance Mode.

Common settings include:

  • Lock role
  • Maintenance Mode behavior
  • Kick lock or ban lock alerts, if available
  • Channel lock and unlock defaults

Lockie has improved locking flows so permissions are remembered instead of being permanently reset when a channel is unlocked.

Anti Check plugin

Use this for automated protection.

Common modules include:

  • Anti-Spam
  • Anti-Scam
  • Anti-Dox
  • Anti-NSFW

Common settings include:

  • Enable or disable each module
  • Choose automated actions
  • Configure protection logs
  • Manage whitelist and blacklist entries
  • Tune false positives

Standard Anti-Scam and Anti-Dox lists are usually limited to 15 whitelist entries and 15 blacklist entries per control. Premium may unlock higher limits and unlimited checks depending on the plan.

Embed Builder

Use this to create clean embeds from the Dashboard.

Good uses include:

  • Rules
  • Announcements
  • Information panels
  • Staff notices
  • Reusable templates

Welcomer

Use this to greet new members automatically.

Common settings include:

  • Welcome channel
  • Message content
  • Embed content
  • First-time join behavior, if available

Recent Cases

Recent Cases helps staff review moderation history without digging through log channels.

Use it to check:

  • The action taken
  • The moderator
  • The reason
  • The target user
  • When the case happened
  • Whether follow-up action is needed

If Recent Cases looks outdated, refresh the panel and check that the Moderation plugin and log settings are enabled.

App Activity

App Activity is Lockie's dashboard and bot audit trail.

It helps answer questions like:

  • Who changed this setting?
  • Who used this command?
  • Who updated a template?
  • Which dashboard action happened last?

Recommended setup:

  1. Open the Moderation plugin.
  2. Set the Action Logs Channel.
  3. Make a safe dashboard change.
  4. Confirm the action appears in App Activity or the configured action log channel.

Custom App Profile

Premium servers may have access to Custom App Profile settings.

Depending on your plan and version, this can include:

  • Custom bot name
  • Custom avatar
  • Custom banner
  • Custom bio/about text

Premium tools

The Premium area can be used to:

  • Check server premium status
  • Manage billing
  • Transfer premium between servers, if available
  • Unlock premium controls such as Custom App Profile, unlimited checks, or higher limits

Permission tips

For log channels, Lockie typically needs:

  • View Channel
  • Send Messages
  • Embed Links
  • Read Message History

For protection modules that delete or moderate content, Lockie may also need:

  • Manage Messages
  • Moderate Members
  • Kick Members or Ban Members, depending on the configured action

For locking and Maintenance Mode, Lockie may need:

  • Manage Channels
