Embed Builder
Embed Builder lets staff create rich Discord embeds from the Dashboard.
Use it for announcements, rules, information panels, staff notices, and reusable templates.
What you can build
Depending on your version, Embed Builder may support:

Create an embed
- Open https://lockieapp.ca
- Select your server.
- Open Embed Builder.
- Create or choose a template.
- Fill in the embed content.
- Preview it.
- Choose the destination channel.
- Send or save it depending on your version.
App Activity
Embed template changes can appear in App Activity if the feature is enabled. This helps staff see who created, edited, or sent a template.
Permissions
Lockie needs:
- View Channel
- Send Messages
- Embed Links
If the embed includes attachments or images, extra upload behavior may depend on your version.
Best practices
- Keep important embeds short and readable.
- Use fields for organized information.
- Preview before sending.
- Use templates for repeated formats.
- Limit edit access to trusted staff roles.
Troubleshooting
If the embed does not send:
- Confirm Lockie can Send Messages in the destination channel.
- Confirm Lockie has Embed Links.
- Check that the channel still exists.
- Check whether the embed content is too long.
- Review App Activity or logs for errors.
