New Account Controls

New Account Controls let you limit strong automated actions to recently created Discord accounts.

This is useful during raids and suspicious join waves where brand-new accounts are more likely to be used for abuse.

Available controls

Depending on your version, you may see settings like:

Setting	What it does
Only kick new accounts	Kick actions only apply if the account is newer than your threshold.
Only ban new accounts	Ban actions only apply if the account is newer than your threshold.
Kick new account days	Sets the account age threshold for kick actions.
Ban new account days	Sets the account age threshold for ban actions.

The day slider supports up to 14 days.

Example

If Only ban new accounts is enabled and Ban new account days is set to 7, Lockie only uses the ban action when the detected account is under 7 days old.

Older accounts can still be logged, deleted, timed out, or handled according to the rest of your configuration.

Where to configure it

1. Open https://lockieapp.ca
2. Select your server.
3. Open the Anti Check or Moderation-related protection settings.
4. Find the new account controls for kick or ban actions.
5. Enable the control you want.
6. Set the day threshold.
7. Save changes.

When to use it

Good use cases:

• Raid protection
• Scam waves from newly created accounts
• Suspicious joins followed by spam
• Safer tuning before enabling broad kick or ban actions

Best practices

• Start with a smaller threshold, then adjust based on logs.
• Keep protection logs enabled.
• Do not rely on account age alone.
• Combine with Anti-Scam, Anti-Spam, and Anti-Dox tuning.
• Review skipped actions during incidents.

Troubleshooting

If the setting does not save:

• Make sure the value is between 0 and 14 days.
• Make sure the related action is enabled.
• Refresh the Dashboard and try again.
• Check that you have permission to edit server settings.

If actions are not happening:

• Confirm the account is actually newer than the threshold.
• Check whether the channel or role is exempt.
• Confirm Lockie has Kick Members or Ban Members.
• Confirm Lockie's role is high enough.
