Anti Checks Overview

Anti Checks are Lockie's automated protection modules. They help staff reduce spam, scam links, doxxing, NSFW content, and other risky activity before it spreads through the server.

Available modules

The exact modules can vary by version, but Lockie commonly includes:

ModulePurpose
Anti-SpamReduces floods, repeated messages, mention spam, and disruptive posting patterns.
Anti-ScamHelps catch suspicious links, phishing attempts, and scam-like message patterns.
Anti-DoxHelps reduce the risk of sensitive personal information being posted.
Anti-NSFWHelps catch unwanted NSFW or unsafe image/message content when available.

How Anti Checks work

Most Anti Check modules follow the same flow:

  1. A message or event is checked.
  2. Lockie compares it to your enabled module settings.
  3. Whitelists, blacklists, safe channels, and exempt roles are applied.
  4. Lockie takes the configured action.
  5. A protection log is posted for staff review.

Common actions

Depending on the module and version, actions may include:

  • Log only
  • Delete message
  • Timeout
  • Kick
  • Ban
  • Ignore exempt users or channels

Start with lower actions while tuning. After you are confident the module behaves correctly, you can increase the action severity.

Whitelists and blacklists

Whitelists are for trusted entries. Blacklists are for blocked entries.

For standard servers, Anti-Scam and Anti-Dox controls usually have these limits:

ControlWhitelist limitBlacklist limit
Anti-Scam15 entries15 entries
Anti-Dox15 entries15 entries

Premium may unlock higher limits, unlimited checks, or extra controls depending on the plan.

New account action controls

Some stronger automated actions can be limited to new accounts.

This is useful during raids because you can make kick or ban actions apply only when the detected account is newer than your configured threshold.

Common controls include:

  • Only kick new accounts
  • Only ban new accounts
  • Kick new account days
  • Ban new account days

The maximum threshold is 14 days.

See New Account Controls.
