Setup
How do I add Lockie to my server?

Why do I need the Dashboard?
The Dashboard is the main place to configure Lockie. It is easier for staff because settings, logs, plugins, premium status, and server tools are all in one place.
Use it for:
- Log channels
- Staff roles

Where do I configure settings?

My server is not showing on the Dashboard. What do I do?
Make sure you are signed into the correct Discord account, have permission to manage the server, and have invited Lockie. Then refresh the Dashboard.
Permissions
Does Lockie need Administrator?
Administrator is the easiest first install option, but it is not always required. You can use custom permissions if you give Lockie the permissions needed for the features you enable.

Why can Lockie not ban, kick, or mute someone?
Usually one of these is true:
- Lockie's role is below the target user's role.
- Lockie is missing Ban Members, Kick Members, or Moderate Members.
- A channel override is blocking Lockie.
- The target is an owner, admin, or otherwise above the bot.
Logs
Logs are not showing up. What do I check first?
- Confirm the correct log channel is selected on the Dashboard.
- Confirm Lockie can View Channel, Send Messages, Embed Links, and Read Message History.
- Confirm the feature creating the log is enabled.
- Trigger a safe test event.
Why are some log events missing?
Some events depend on Discord permissions, Discord gateway events, or whether Lockie could see the action when it happened. Check permissions first, then check Dashboard toggles.
What is App Activity?
App Activity is Lockie's audit trail for bot and dashboard actions. It helps staff see who used commands, changed settings, updated templates, or saved dashboard changes.
Protection
What are Anti Checks?
Anti Checks are Lockie's automated protection modules. They help reduce spam, scams, doxxing, NSFW content, and other risky activity depending on what your version supports.

How do Anti-Spam, Anti-Scam, and Anti-Dox work?
Lockie watches for patterns commonly connected to spam, scam links, and sensitive personal information. When something matches your configuration, Lockie can log it, delete it, timeout the user, kick, ban, or take another action supported by your version.
What if there is a false positive?
Review the log, then tune your settings.
Useful fixes include:
- Add trusted entries to the whitelist.
- Remove overly broad blacklist entries.
- Exempt staff roles.
- Exempt safe channels.
- Lower the action while tuning.
Why can I only add 15 whitelist or blacklist entries?
Standard Anti-Scam and Anti-Dox controls usually allow 15 whitelist entries and 15 blacklist entries per control. Premium may unlock higher limits, unlimited checks, or more advanced controls depending on the plan.
Should I disable Anti-Scam or Anti-Dox if it catches something wrong?
Not always. It is usually better to keep logs enabled and tune whitelist, blacklist, channel exemptions, or action severity first.
New account controls
What does "Only kick new accounts" mean?
It means the kick action only applies when the detected account is newer than the day threshold you set. For example, if the threshold is 7 days, Lockie only kicks accounts that are under 7 days old when the rule matches.
What does "Only ban new accounts" mean?
It works the same way, but for ban actions. The ban only applies to accounts newer than the configured threshold.
What is the max new account threshold?
The new account slider supports up to 14 days.
Maintenance and locking
What is Maintenance Mode?
Maintenance Mode is a restricted state you can use during raids, incidents, updates, or planned server work. It is usually paired with channel locking.

Can I lock one channel?
Yes. You can lock a channel using @everyone, a selected role, or a configured lock role depending on the command and your Dashboard settings.

Will Lockie restore permissions after unlocking?
Improved locking flows are designed to remember permissions so channels are not permanently reset after unlocking. If something still looks wrong, check manual overrides and other roles.
Moderation
Where do I see moderation cases?
Use Recent Cases on the Dashboard and your configured moderation log channel.
What is massban?
Massban is a moderation tool for banning multiple users in one flow. Lockie shows progress and a final summary with successful and failed or skipped actions.

What is masspurge?
Masspurge removes messages from a selected user across supported text or announcement channels. It is useful after spam raids or repeated rule-breaking.

Premium
What does Premium unlock?
Premium can unlock higher limits, unlimited checks, Custom App Profile, premium dashboard controls, and other plan-specific benefits.

Can I transfer Premium to another server?
If Premium Transfer is available on your account, you can move Premium from one server to another from the Premium page on the website or Dashboard.
Why is Premium not showing on my server?
Check:
- You are signed into the Discord account that purchased it.
- You selected the correct server.
- The checkout completed.
- The server still exists and Lockie is still in it.
If it still does not show, open a ticket with your Discord user ID, server ID, and receipt or invoice ID.
Custom App Profile
What can I customize?
Premium servers may be able to customize the bot name, avatar, banner, and bio depending on the plan and version.
Why did my avatar or banner not update?
Check the file type, file size, Premium status, and whether the upload finished. Discord caching can also make old images appear for a little while.
