Setup
How do I add Lockie to my server?

Logs
Logs are not showing up. What do I check first?
- Confirm the correct log channel is selected on the Dashboard.
- In that channel, confirm Lockie has permission to View Channel, Send Messages, and Embed Links.
- Trigger a test event and verify the channel receives a log.
If you still do not see logs, go to Troubleshooting.
Why are some log events missing?
Some events depend on Discord gateway events, permissions, or whether the action happened while the bot was offline. Check permissions first, then check the Dashboard for feature toggles that might be off.
Protection
How do Anti-Spam, Anti-Scam, and Anti-Dox work?
Lockie watches messages for patterns commonly associated with spam, malicious links, and sensitive personal info. When a match is detected, Lockie can take automated action and produce a log entry for staff review.

What if there is a false positive?
- Review the log entry to see what triggered the action.
- Adjust allowlists or thresholds on the Dashboard.
- If you are unsure what to change, open a support ticket and include screenshots of the log and the message content.
Maintenance and locking
What is Maintenance Mode?
Maintenance Mode is a restricted state you can use during incidents or planned maintenance. It is typically paired with channel locking.
